Just a short pelican glide south of St. Augustine Beach, you'll
find Saltwater Cowboys perched above wildlife-laden salt marshes
flanking the Intracoastal Waterway.
A very
popular mainstay of the First Coast's restaurant scene for over
46 years, Cowboy's present owners have been serving up their own
brand of fresh seafood, BBQ ribs, chicken,
steaks, gator tail, frog legs and cooter (soft-shell turtle) to
locals and tourists alike for 31 years.
Cowboys
interior is reminiscent of a turn-of-the-century fish camp with
handmade willow twig furniture, old wooden floors, rusted tin ceilings
with gator and snake skins hanging on the walls. Customers can sip
a relaxing drink on the outdoor deck or enjoy the delicious Florida
style cooking in one of the four rustic dining rooms.
